When it comes to year-end tax planning, there’s always a lot to think about. Blumark helps you plan for tax season before tax season arrives. Blumark partners with local CPA firms to help you evaluate your situation, keep you apprised of any legislative changes, and determine whether any year-end moves make sense for you. We’ll make sure you are not pushed into a higher tax bracket unnecessarily, and help you avoid other tax-season “surprises”. Whether you’re a business, individual, or family household, our experienced group of advisors offer year-round tax planning and preparation.
When planning an investment strategy, it’s important to start with a solid foundation. Our advisors work with clients to create a comprehensive portfolio that identifies your financial and investment goals and assesses your investing personality. We’ll help you understand what’s involved in managing that portfolio on an ongoing basis. Designing an investment portfolio generally involves figuring out how to integrate all your various financial and investment goals. This includes some form of asset allocation (the process of deciding how to divide your assets among different types of investments, such as stocks, bonds, cash alternatives, and other investments). It may also include specific tax planning strategies to minimize your tax burden.
We will work with you to choose the best investment strategies, and we’ll modify them as your life changes as well. Planning investments can be a very involved process, and we’ll walk with you and advise you to make smart decisions about your investments every step of the way.
Retirement Planning is becoming even more important due to the fact that Americans are living longer lives. According to the U.S. Administration on Aging, persons reaching age 65 have an average life expectancy of an additional 19.3 years. [i] Social Security accounts for only about a third of total aggregate income for aged persons,[ii] and may not be enough to see you through your retirement years. Properly planning for a healthy retirement takes time, consideration, and resources. We know that much of your adult life is dedicated to saving for a comfortable retirement, and we want to help you feel confident in your decisions leading up to that day.

Each day, you face a variety of risks–risks to your life, your health, and your property. Although you can’t eliminate many of these risks, you can take steps to guard against resulting financial losses. A crucial aspect to risk reduction is insurance coverage. If your coverage is sufficient, insurance can provide both peace of mind and financial security to you and your loved ones. By asking practical questions, we are able to determine your particular insurance needs for life, disability, long-term care, auto and homeowners insurance. Blumark is here to help you develop strategies to ensure you’re buying the right amount and the right kinds of insurance for your lifestyle.
Today, a competitive employee benefit package can play an important role in an individual’s employment decision making. Our advisors compile your employer’s benefit package information and analyze and review your options to give you the best recommendations. We help you evaluate what insurances are available to you and what benefits you should take advantage of. We help you sort through issues such as: retirement plans, medical insurance, life insurance, disability, dependent care, savings accounts, health savings accounts, and flexible savings accounts.
Whatever kind of debt you’re trying to manage, we want to find solutions for you. Proper debt management ensures that you will have credit when you need it, make wise borrowing decisions, and avoid disaster if you become overextended. For example, since most students acquire debt in receiving their education, many lenders have created flexible repayment options to help students successfully manage this large financial responsibility. We’ll help you work through your debt to find options and solutions. Our advisors will search for ways to save you money by consolidating debt, lowering payments and/or reducing the amount of interest paid. There’s no cookie-cutter solution to your finances. Blumark strives to find payoff strategies that will benefit you individually.
By definition, estate planning is a process designed to help you manage and preserve your assets while you are alive, and to conserve and control their distribution after your death. Your age, health, wealth, lifestyle, goals, and many other factors determine your particular estate planning needs. Estate planning also includes important decisions about what would happen in the event that you are no longer able to manage your financial or medical affairs.
Building an appropriate estate plan includes managing the drafting of documents, (wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, etc.) and managing inventory assets both during life and after. We coordinate with estate-planning attorneys in order to help you sort through those key decisions when creating your individualized estate plan.
In addition, Blumark’s network of carefully selected partners can handle any related issue involved in managing an individual’s ever-changing financial landscape.
Let us help give you the best of both worlds: Traditional values. Innovative financial solutions. We encourage you to find out more, and learn whether Blumark is right for you.
